King Crimson will be reuniting within the next year. The details are a little scattered, but Robert Fripp has confirmed that ‘The Seven-Headed Beast of Crim is in Go! mode.” Fripp is referring to the slow-moving ‘actualization’ as King Crimson VIII, which at this point will include three drummers:
So, King Crimson is in motion. This is a very different reformation to what has gone before: seven players, four English and three American, with three drummers.
According to Fact the King Crimson lineup will consist of Gavin Harrison, Bill Rieflin, Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, Mel Collins, Jakko Jakszyk and Robert Fripp.
According to Fripps online diary, “Given the considerable commitments of all members, it will take a year before Crimson is able to perform.“
