June And The Well

BIO:

  • We all played in 90s bands of italian DIY scene.
  • Two of us, Lele and Luca, played in two Bands called “The Miles Apart” and “Eversor”.
  • They were the most important emocore bands of the 90s era in italy.
  • They toured twice Japan (with Braid back in 1998)  and Europe between 1994 and 2004 and shared the stage with band like Get up Kids, Sense Field, Into Another, Burning Airlines.
  • I started June and the Well as a solo project recording every instrument and vocals by myself in a recording studio.
  • Than i called Lele for a featuring in a song i wrote so we started playing together.
  • Luca and Massi joined us in the last two months.

We made a videoclip of a song called “Your Magical Mirror”.
You can listen to it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDYx6NLMdkY

June and the Well are currently releasing their first full length for a Japanese Label called SP- Records (http://www.sp-records.com/)

Massi: Bass 30 years old

Best reunion show you’ve ever been to?
unfortunately I’ve never been participating in a reunion, but only to show groups of “fresh” and consolidated.

Who would you love to see reunited?
unfortunately my hope is impossible, because I’d like to see the Queen gathered to see what would have composed in this period and how they would develop their sound.

Who would you love to interview?
I’d like to interview Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) and Colin Greenwood of Radiohead are my “guru” (teachers).

Who would you love to see make a full comeback?
I think I would not, for me, music is a constantly changing and I have a vision of well-directed forward and never look back, if a group broke I say: Well maybe he had to go like that and not think about it anymore.

None.
But I can tell you the best reunion show I have ever wanted:
1) The Police
2) Into another

Who would you love to see reunited?
Megacityfour (maybe in another life…)

Who would you love to interview?
Steward Copeland and Dave Abbruzzese, whose drumming is the main reason I have started playing (and I still haven’t stopped!)

Who would you love to see make a full comeback?
Definitely, the Smiths
